The Fx14 vegetable mixture test is an allergy test from the
blood. The vegetable mixture test determines 4 allergens:
- tomato,
- spinach,
- cabbage,
- apricot,
The test involves the determination of IgE antibodies in the blood and is
performed when an allergy to vegetables is suspected. The advantage of
of the test is that there is no need to discontinue antihistamines
antihistamines. The blood allergen test is used
also for qualifying for desensitization of vegetable allergies.
It is also recommended for the diagnosis of allergenic agents in
children under the age of 4 years.
