Clinical significance

Determination of glucose in nasal or ear fluid is a preliminary test used to diagnose the ró¿nic origin of the fluid. In cases of traumaóin the skull, there may be a fluid leakage, that is, a leakage of móspinal fluid. In this case, glucose is found in the fluid examined.
