Novalgin

Novalgin is an analgesic, antipyretic and anti-inflammatory based on metamizole. The principle of action of this substance is to inhibit the production of prostaglandins - substances that are produced by the body and are responsible for pain, inflammation and elevation of body temperature. Novalgin is used for acute pain, when other drugs do not help or it is impossible to others to be applied. The drug is also used in infections of the respiratory tract respiratory tract infections, rheumatoid arthritis, gout and influenza. Novalgin determination is performed when suspicion of poisoning and when monitoring the dosage of the of the drug.
