Rickettsiae
Rickettsiae - bacteria that multiply intracellularly and
causing rickettsiosis. The reservoir of the battery is mammals on which it
are parasitized by lice, fleas and ticks. Rickettsioses cause diseases such
such as typhoid fever, endemic typhoid fever, nodular fevers and anaplasmosis
granulocytic. The main symptoms of infection include high
fever, pains and a macular and maculopapular rash. In the test
antibodies to Rickettsia are determined. In Poland, Rickettsiosis
occurs sporadically. The test is recommended in case of suspicion of
disease of this group with a positive history and travel to countries
endemic occurrence of the disease.
