Clinical significance

Serological test useful in the diagnosis of allergic alveolitis. It is an immune-mediated disease thatóra develops in peopleób exposed to prolonged exposure to a variety of allergens. In Poland, the most common form is a disease of breedersów birdsów (pigeons, ducks, parrots, turkeys and chickens), the allergens responsible for the developmentóy of the disease are contained in bird droppings.
