How to prepare for the test?

The test should be performed on an empty stomach (drinking a small amount of water is acceptable) and before taking medication, unless otherwise instructed by a doctor. The last meal of the previous day should be eaten no later than 6:00 p.m. It is recommended that blood be drawn in the morning, between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. If taking supplements, such as biotin, blood should be drawn at least 8h after taking the last dose of the supplement.
